How does Third-Party (TP) two-wheeler insurance cover
work?
what are the risks covered by a comprehensive two-wheeler policy?
A
comprehensive two-wheeler insurance policy
in India covers various risks such as accidental damage, theft, natural disasters like floods, earthquakes, storms, and man-made disasters like riots, strikes, etc. It also covers third-party liability for bodily injury, death, and property damage caused by the insured vehicle.
Does insurance cover bike damage?
Yes, bike damage is typically covered by insurance, provided it is caused by a covered peril such as an accident, theft, or natural calamities.
Comprehensive motorcycle insurance plans exclude coverage for the engine of the vehicle, so if an unfortunate mishap occurs, you will be faced with unexpected expenses. An
engine protection cover
for bikes will protect you if you incur repair/replacement costs due to lubricant leakage, water intrusion or hydrostatic lock.
Does own damage cover theft?
The purpose of own damage coverage is to cover any losses sustained by the insured bike due to unforeseen events, such as accidents, earthquakes, theft, riots, fire, etc.
Does personal accident cover bike insurance?
Personal accident insurance
for two-wheelers provides compensation for accidents and deaths to the vehicle owner or dependents.
What are deductibles in Two-Wheeler Insurance?
A deductible refers to the fixed amount of money that you must pay out of pocket for each claim before your insurance provider covers the remaining expenses.
Does comprehensive two-wheeler insurance provide full coverage?
Comprehensive coverage typically includes damages caused by accidents, natural disasters, theft, fire, riots, and third-party liability.
