Fire and Allied Perils

Fire and allied perils cover protects the shopkeeper against various losses/damages such as lightning, explosion/implosion, aircraft damage, riots, strikes, malicious damages, storms, cyclones, typhoons, tempests, hurricanes, tornados, floods/inundation, impact damage, subsidence/landslide, rockslide, bursting and/or overflowing of water tanks, apparatus & pipes, missile testing operations, leakage from automatic sprinklers installations, bush fire and earthquake

Burglary

The coverage includes burglary or housebreaking of the shop contents. Burglary covers the maximum sum insured of 10,00,000/-. There are separate burglary policies available for a highly valuable content

Money (In Transit and at Premises)

Shriram General Insurance Company Limited will compensate for the loss of money from the hands of the policy holder or their employees during transit within a radius of fifteen miles. This policy also covers the loss of money in steel cupboards/cash boxes and other places under lock and key. Additionally, 10% of the applicable sum insured is covered for loss of money from the counter during business hours

Personal Accident

The personal accident cover protects the insured's family with compensation for accidental death and injury. The capital sum insured is different for different plans. One can choose a sum insured limit as per their requirements

Fidelity Guarantee

Shriram General Insurance Company Limited will indemnify the policy holder if their salaried employee commits fraud or dishonesty on the insured premises. According to the policy, the insured's liability is limited to the sum chosen in the policy period

Loss or damage arising from any consequences of war, invasion, an act of a foreign enemy, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), civil war, rebellion revolution, insurrection, military, usurped power, civil commotion, etc.

Loss or damage caused by depreciation or wear and tear

Loss or destruction or damage to any property due to any consequential loss

Any legal liability arising due to radioactive/nuclear materials
