Job Title: General Manager / Manager - Broker (Non - Motor)
Qualification: 
 B.Tech & MBA in Marketing from Premiere institutes only.
Experience: Proven experience of at least 12+ years/ 7+ Years in the general insurance industry, with a focus on broker channels in Non-Motor product sales.
Location – Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, Chandigarh

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic professional to join our team as General Manager / Manager - Broker (Non - Motor). This position will play a key role in developing and managing relationships with corporate clients and brokers, driving business growth, and expanding market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and insurance, with a deep understanding of the corporate and broker channels in the general insurance industry.


Key Responsibilities:
 

  1. Build the Non-Motor business in the region by driving growth in Fire, Engineering, Marine, Liability and other Non-Motor LOBs by ensuring all statutory compliances and organizational policies.
  2. Plan, implement and manage the detailed sales plan for the region in line with the organization goal.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to acquire and retain corporate clients and brokers, driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.
  4. Identify and prospect potential corporate clients and brokers, leveraging market intelligence, networking, and industry relationships.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the corporate and broker segments, serving as the primary point of contact for their insurance needs.
  6. Understand the specific insurance requirements of corporate clients and brokers, providing customized solutions and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriting, claims, product development, and marketing teams, to ensure the seamless delivery of insurance solutions and exceptional service to corporate clients and brokers.
  8. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as new business acquisition, retention rates, revenue growth, and profitability within the C&B vertical.
  9. Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with corporate clients and brokers, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  10. Conduct regular business reviews with corporate clients and brokers, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, and addressing any issues or concerns.
  11. Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the corporate and broker segments, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  12. Ensure effective manpower planning for the region and work with HR to ensure appropriate staffing levels
  13. Counsel, guide and support the team members in driving business closures, handling clients, escalations, and develop strong performance driven culture.
  14. Rewards and Recognition for channel partners.
  15. Prepare and present periodic reports to senior management, highlighting performance, challenges, and opportunities within the corporate and broker channels.


About You
 
  1. Strong understanding of the corporate and broker segments in the general insurance industry, including market dynamics, client requirements, distribution channels, and regulatory landscape.
  2. Excellent relationship-building and networking skills, with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong connections with corporate clients and brokers.
  3. Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the corporate and broker channels.
  4. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  5. Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement innovative business development strategies to drive growth.
  6. Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and a focus on delivering results.
  7. Strong computer knowledge – Proficient in data monitoring, analysis & representation using Microsoft Office tools.
  8. Willingness to travel to meet with corporate clients, brokers, and attend industry events.
