Job Title: Asst. General Manager – OEM/Affinity Tie-Up
Qualification: 
Engineer & MBA in Marketing from Premiere institutes only
Experience: Proven experience of at least 10+ years with focus on FMCG, Manufacturing, OEM, affinity, & unconventional tie-ups.
Location: Jaipur (Corporate Office)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic professional from FMCG / Large Manufacturing companies to join our team as AGM – OEM/Affinity Tie-Up. This position will play a critical role in establishing and managing relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and affinity partners to drive business growth and enhance market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marketing and preferably have an engineering background.


Key Responsibilities:
 

  1. Develop and implement strategies to identify, acquire, and maintain tie-ups with OEMs and affinity partners, driving business growth and expanding market reach.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at OEMs and affinity partners, serving as the primary point of contact for insurance-related collaborations.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriting, claims, product development, and marketing teams, to design and deliver customized insurance solutions that align with the needs of OEMs and affinity partners.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential OEMs and affinity partners, evaluate market potential, and develop targeted approaches to engage and establish partnerships.
  5. Negotiate and finalize agreements, contracts, and MOUs with OEMs and affinity partners, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  6. Drive the implementation and execution of tie-up programs, ensuring seamless integration of insurance offerings with OEM products or affinity partner platforms.
  7. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as new business acquisition, customer retention, revenue growth, and profitability within the OEM/affinity tie-up segment.
  8. Conduct regular business reviews with OEMs and affinity partners, identifying opportunities for expansion, growth, and process improvement.
  9. Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the OEM and affinity partner segments, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  10. Prepare and present periodic reports to senior management, highlighting performance, challenges, and opportunities within the OEM/affinity tie-up segment.
  11. Ensure effective manpower planning for the region and work with HR to ensure appropriate staffing levels
  12. Rewards and Recognition for channel partners.


About You
 
  1. Strong understanding of the OEM and affinity partner segments, including market dynamics, partner requirements, distribution channels, and regulatory landscape.
  2. Excellent relationship-building and networking skills, with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong connections with OEMs, affinity partners and think through the possibilities of unconventional tie-ups.
  3. Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving and exceeding business targets.
  4. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  5. Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement innovative business development strategies to drive growth and establish long-term partnerships.
  6. Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and a focus on delivering results.
  7. Familiarity with the technical aspects of OEM products and the ability to understand their insurance-related requirements.
  8. Willingness to travel to meet with OEMs, affinity partners, and attend industry events.
  9. Strong computer knowledge – Proficient in data monitoring, analysis & representation using Microsoft Office tools.
